APPLICATIONS: Turning O.D. & facing, chamfering I.D.
The robot loads the part on to the expanding mandrel on the main spindle. That mandrel is actuated gripping the part. The sub-spindle, with a second expanding mandrel, moves inside the other end of the part and is actuated. The outside diameter of the part is turned, the ends are machined to length, and the internal diameter is chamfered. The part is unloaded.
