Multi-Grip
Chucks & Arbors

Multi-Bore

  • Ideal for parts that are turned, faced, and bored using a Speedgrip collet for 360 degree grip and strong pullback action
  • Double taper collets grip in both bore diameters when a part has multiple bore sizes
  • Collet ground for one bore size on each end; each end expands to grip its respective bore with equal pressure and strong pull-back action
  • Bore tolerances can vary
  • Greater part engagement, improved rigidity, reduced chatter, and more aggressive machining for shorter cycle times and more parts per shift

Multi-Part

  • Double taper collets grip the bore of two parts simultaneously
  • Each end expands to grip the bore of that part until both parts are gripped with equal pressure and strong pull-back action
  • Bore tolerances can vary

Multi-Collet

  • Chucks and arbors designed with 2 or more collets to grip long parts with the same or varying bore diameters
  • All collets move up the taper and expand until all bores are gripped with equal pressure
  • Interchangeable wedges and spacers reposition collets in the best area of the part
  • Available with pullback or no pullback
  • Standard off-the-shelf collets can be quickly changed for other bore sizes, ideal for families of parts
  • Designs using 2 double taper collets grip 4 parts simultaneously, doubling or quadrupling output for gear machining and similar applications
